The Parsnip of Time

Observations from the peel of the universe

About the author

The author, whose name is not Arkady, who is not a vegetable or a pretender to the great title of Time, is not a particularly skillful cook (note for those who have stumbled upon him in search of cooking blogs). He likes the classics and dislikes classicism, he likes languages, teaches literature, and whiles away his time reading, writing, and talking, like many of his betters. He believes there is nothing better for a person than ‘to remember God in the days of their youth’; because if they are capable of forgetting God, they are capable of forgetting anything: like their house-keys or their humour.
